Cancellation Policy
  • The first night room charges will be charged if the room is cancelled within 3 days prior to the check in date.
  • First night room charges will be charged if no show and the remaining nights will be cancelled.
 
Refund & Return Policy
  • No refund is allowed after booking is confirmed for pre-payment booking method. However, rescheduling is allowed 3 days prior to initial booked date.
 
State Government Policy
  • All bookings are subjected to an additional MYR2 Heritage Charge per room per night. This is to be paid directly at the hotel.

Mercury Boutique Hotel (Mercury) is owned and operated by TN HOTEL SDN BHD. The following Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and otherwise process personally identifiable information that we collect about individuals ("Personal Data") in connection with the services available from Mercury through the web site located at www.mercuryhotel.com.my ("Site"). By visiting the Site, you are consenting to the collection, use, disclosure and processing of your Personal Data as described in this Privacy Policy. All data that we collect and process is stored on servers located in Malaysia, a country that may not provide an equivalent level of data protection to the laws in your home jurisdiction.

On some occasion, Mercury may revise this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the law, our Personal Data collection and use practices, the features of our Site or advances in technology. If we make revisions that change the way we collect or use your Personal Data, those changes will be posted in this Privacy Policy and the effective date will be noted at the beginning of this Privacy Policy. Therefore, you should review this Privacy Policy periodically so that you are up to date on our most current policies and practices. Mercury will also prominently post such material changes prior to implementing changes.

We collect Personal Data about you that you provide to us while using the Site. Personal Data may include your name, address, phone number, credit card number or e-mail address. We also collect non-personally identifiable information, which may be linked to your Personal Data, including your log-in name, IP address and password and search preferences related to specific searches.

To protect credit card transactions, TN HOTEL SDN BHD currently uses Public Bank Berhad as a service provider to encrypt credit card information during transit.

We use Personal Data and other information collected through the Site to register you with the Site to provide you with the requested products and services, to build features that will make the services available on the Site easier to use and to contact you about these services. This includes faster purchase requests, better customer support and timely notice of new services and special offers. From time to time, Mercury may contact you to request feedback on your experience using the Site to assist us in improving the Site or to offer special savings or promotions to you as a Site user where you have indicated your consent to receiving such communications.

Mercury may share your Personal Data with third parties we employ to perform services on our behalf such as web hosting services, data analysis, to market our products and services, to handle credit card transactions and to provide you with customer service. All such third parties will be under an obligation to maintain the security and confidentiality of the Personal Data and to process the Personal Data only in accordance with our instructions.

In some cases, Mercury may require that you transact directly with a third party to obtain services, when you use the Site to reserve a hotel room or obtain another product or service, we may provide your Personal Data to that hotel or other involved third party.

Mercury may disclose Personal Data to protect ourselves against liability, to respond to subpoenas, judicial processes, legitimate requests by law enforcement officials, or as otherwise required in order to comply with applicable law or to the purchasers in connection with any sale, assignment, or other transfer of all or a part of our business or company. Term & Conditions

By making a reservation on our Site, you accept and agree to the relevant Hotel policy, terms and conditions including cancellation and no-show policies applicable to that booking and to any additional (delivery) terms and conditions of the Mercury that may apply to your reservation or during your stay including for services rendered and/or products offered by Mercury. Please note that you may be charged for your cancellation in accordance with Mercury’s cancellation and no-show policy. We recommend that you read the cancellation and no-show policy of Mercury carefully prior to making your reservation. If you fail to check in to your Hotel on time on the day of your reservation and do not alert the Hotel, the remaining portion of your reservation may be canceled and the first night will be charged accordingly.

If you wish to review, adjust or cancel your reservation, please revert to the confirmation email and follow the instructions therein or contact our Customer Service.

For pre-paid bookings with Mercury, your credit card will be charged by Public Bank Berhad for the full upon reservation and confirmation of the booking. For certain product or service rendered, we will not charge your credit card as you will pay the Mercury directly. However, Mercury may pre-authorize your card, charge a deposit or charge the full price of the reservation /product/ service rendered up-front. In the event of credit card fraud or unauthorized use of your credit card by third parties, you should contact your bank or card issuer immediately upon becoming aware of such unauthorized use. If you suspect an unauthorized or fraudulent booking was made via Mercury, please contact our Customer Service team immediately.

In order to make a booking you must be over 18 years old (or the age of majority in those countries and territories where it is higher than 18) and have the full legal capacity to make the transaction (or have the authorization from your legal guardian). You undertake that the credit or debit card you are using is your own and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the transaction. You accept financial responsibility for all transactions made under your name or account.

You undertake that the details you provide us with in making a booking are fully correct. Mercury reserves the right not to accept certain credit cards. Mercury may add or remove other payment methods at its discretion.

Reservations are not confirmed until you have received a confirmation email. It is possible that a Mercury could become fully booked during the fraud check, in which case, the reservation will no longer be available. Mercury can never be held liable in such cases. Additional information submitted will be treated in line with strict industry standards to protect privacy using encryption for transmission and specialized agents for verification. If you choose not to submit the additional information, the booking will not be completed and fully cancelled.
